Last week, I told you about my must haves for my carry-on - the suitcase I put above in the overhead storage. This weekend I'm in Boston, so I thought I would share another travel must! I try to carry on every time I travel, so this has meant I need to get a little creative with the under-the-seat bag allowed.
I am SO HAPPY backpacks are BACK! I have been using one NONSTOP lately. I love the simplicity of the Herschel supply backpacks. Another Flight001 find I usually travel with is their clear quart bag. It just holds up better than the usual ziploc!
Ever since friend turned me on to the Honest Co hand sanitizer, it is always with me. I stumbled upon the Kiehl's lavender hand lotion when I had forgotten mine and had itchy dry hands at the Baltimore airport! My lips are always super dry when I fly, so I keep a tin of the Vaseline cocoa butter lip balm.
To combat the dryness, I usually pack one of my Swell water bottles to fill once I pass security. I drink so much water, it KILLS me to buy a $7 bottle at the airport! Mobile chargers have become ubiquitous in my bags - this particular one saved my dad in the Paddock at Derby! It is also super helpful when you want to charge your phone while its in airplane mode!
Finally - even in the dead of summer I travel with a cardigan. The three below are my current favorites and I am wearing the BP one as I type! It is ALWAYS freezing on planes!! The Everlane cashmere cardigan is another mainstay. I usually travel with one of the three colors below: tan, black, or army green.
My feet area AWLAYS cold on planes, and I tend to try to wear my clunkiest pair of shoes that will also keep my toes from getting frostbit! The Sperry booties are a newer find that are SO comfortable for a heeled bootie! The TOMS have been on heavy rotation ever since they got to my house - they are comfortable for flights and dog walking! Finally, my eyes dry out major on the plane so I always wear my trusty Warby Parker glasses!
Of course, my favorite under the seat carry-on? WILLIE!! He rides in this Sherpa Carrier
